Tableau User Group board | Richmond (Virginia)

Hi there,

Just wanted to check and see if an RSVP would be needed for the March 5th user group. Also, how long do these sessions typically last so that I can get an idea for my schedule that day Thanks - I'm looking forward to it!

Hello Group,

I was wondering if anyone had the install file for the 32-bit version of Tableau Reader 10.3 or 10.4. I am looking for one of these versions as we have some users that have 32 bit OSes and I want a copy to archive.

Thank You,

Matt

    Hi Matt,

I have removed the link in the previous comment from this discussion as it was pointing to third party site to download a Tableau Product. Tableau was not associated with this site at all and has no partnership with the site. If there is an issue with using the latest version of Tableau Reader. Please reach out to Tableau Technical Support for assistance.

Downloading software from another third party site that is not a partner of Tableau's is extremely dangerous and could put your computer at risk.

    Cheers,

    Byrne, Patrick

Hello,

I work for a small company in Midlothian.  I started using Tableau in May.  We have numerous customers who are interested in our developing Tableau applications for them.  I am the only Tableau developer in the company.  Anyone interested in some extra work? The interest from our customers is snowballing.  Cannot give any particulars at the time.  Just discussed with my VP of Sales Operations.  He is meeting with a big customer next week to get more work.  It would be contract work as needed.  You might want to look at what I've done too.  I'm sure I am probably doing some things that could be done easier or more straight forward.  I am self taught.

Thanks,

Michele

Hi All!

I am new to the Tableau Community groups - I am looking to connect with locals to the RVA area. Is this group still active?

Thanks!

Hey Tableau Fans!

We have a great meeting coming up.

Ryan Dillon from Carmax will focus on best practices for targeting your data to the appropriate audiences and maximizing the look and feel of your visualizations.

Karen Akens from Next Level Administrators will demo practical, real-world examples for making Tableau dashboards that are easy to navigate, customized for each user, and provide detailed drill-down capabilities.

Of course we'll leave lots of time for Q&A!

Plan on brown-bagging lunch if you'd like!

After the winter break we are ready to have our next Tableau User Group Meeting either March 30 or March 31st from 10-12.  Is anyone willing to present?  Please let either null or myself know.

Hey Tabloids!

We're planning an upcoming Tableau Roadshow in the Richmond, Virginia area and we’re currently looking for customer speakers who want to share their data story. The topic can be of your choosing – a cool dashboard, how you’re organization is using Tableau, or just some neat analysis you’ve been working on.

If you’d like to share, please reach out – nbeaton@tableau.com

Are there any plans for a Tableau User Group meeting in Richmond this Spring or Summer 2016? If not, let me know if you might be interested in hosting one at your office. Thanks
