Hello team,

There was an announcement somewhere about the shutdown of Kell Partners on 11/17/2023. With Salesforce pushing for the new format of ICU (where Apex classes, triggers, and VF pages' APIs have to be at least 45.0), how are you guys dealing with the "Fund Allocations" managed package? I have this package in a client's org and I see APIs as low as 27.

I was able to view components but I didn't see where I could select the Apex classes and modify it. Maybe I am looking in the wrong place since I don't do developer work. Thanks

I am new to Salesforce and encountering a 500 Internal Server Error for the object kell01__Allocation_Settings__c, which I cannot find in the Object Manager. I am unsure how to set up the Kell package in Salesforce. Could someone please explain the purpose of the kell01__Allocation_Settings__c object and guide me through the setup process? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello @Vijendra Kumar

, maybe you have already figured this out, but I wanted to share the answer here. `kell01__Allocation_Settings__c` is not a custom object so it wouldn't appear in the Object Manager.

You can find it in the

    Custom Settings

    page in Setup.

As for your question about setting it up, I feel like I don't understand this kell01 "Fund Allocations" package so well. I haven't found any documentation about it, and unfortunately, the developer KELL Partners is now closed.

With the announcement of Kell Partners shutting down on 11/17/2023. Can someone provide an update as to whether or not the Kell Fund Allocations package will go away and when?

Thank you.

I'm working with a nonprofit to setup configuration of KELL's SmartPack Fund Allocation (on Payments). This nonprofit has about 15,000 monthly donors that give to one specific fund so there's will be about 15K Allocation records for this Fund every month. Are they going to run into issues with so many records connected to one Fund?

That is what the client is doing now the GAU Allocations; there's a script that runs to create a new general fund record every few weeks. We were hoping to avoid that.

Hi - We use Kell's Fund Allocations in addition to another third-party application to sell tickets. We have started to receive the following error every time a ticket is sold which includes a donation (opportunity is created) AND the buyer's Contact record will need to be Qualified.

The following error occurred while

trying to create or update the buyer's Contact record: Insert failed. First

exception on row 0; first error: CANNOT_INSERT_UPDATE_ACTIVATE_ENTITY,

kell01.OpportunityTrigger: execution of AfterInsert

caused by: System.DmlException: Insert failed. First exception on row 0;

first error: INSUFFICIENT_ACCESS_ON_CROSS_REFERENCE_ENTITY, insufficient

access rights on cross-reference id: 0061K00000lCw29: []

We've had both of these systems for years and it's suddenly throwing this error. I've talked with the ticketing application and they suspect it's a Fund Allocation issue. I've spoken with someone at Kell, but after our initial conversation and repeated attempts to contact this person, I've never heard anything back. I've done a lot of my own research but still cannot solve the error.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

@Saurabh Singh and @Khakan Ispakhev Thank you both for your help! I'm going to keep investigating to see if I can figure out the record or field that we don't have access to. Unfortunately, I can't see the code for the Apex code it's self. It's "hidden" and most likely only visible to Kell Partners. Hence why I was hoping for their help. I will also try to reach out to them once more.

    Thanks!

I remember seeing in a demo video that you could nest funds inside of each other with the Fund Allocations installed package. However, I cannot see how or where to do this. Any insight from this community?

Hi Christopher, thanks for your response! However, I am not seeing the Parent Fund field anywhere in the Funds object in my org. Does this come with the installed package? Or do I need to create it?

Hello. Today I started getting the following error while entering a new donation. We are running NPSP and have not had this issue until today. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi!

One of our customers is using Kell Partners 'Fund Allocations' managed package. The 'Update Fund Rollups' batch job scheduled to run everyday randomly fails with the below error:

Failed to process batch for class 'kell01.SCH_BAT_UpdateFundRollups' for job id '7071R0000EAMuoD'

caused by: System.LimitException: kell01:Too many query rows: 50001

Class.Database.QueryLocatorIterator.hasNext: line 41, column 1

Class.kell01.SCH_BAT_UpdateFundRollups.execute: line 39, column 1

Has anyone experienced this? Any suggestion/help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
