Does anyone know if the Education Cloud Consultant Certification is now reflective of the new Education Cloud platform / architecture or the EDA architecture?

Salesforce's Research & Insights team wants to speak to people who work on official student records (grading, attendance, etc.) in K-12 institutions.

We'd like to invite them to a 1:1 60-minute Zoom interview. If you or your colleagues are interested, please submit this short screener. Feel free to share with others.

Let me know if you have any questions. Thank you!

Happy 4th of July, everyone! Our team @Maryann Lazzeri @Michael Harris @Ashley DeLeeuw is seeking assistance for a Volunteer project aimed at supporting a K-12 education program. Due to budget constraints, we are in search of a cost-effective solution available on the app exchange or any other platform. Our primary objective is to utilize Salesforce in conjunction with Quickbooks to generate invoices. Alternatively, we are also open to exploring an ecommerce website that can automatically generate invoices once a customer selects their desired products. Any suggestions or ideas on how we can achieve this would be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance for your support.

Hi Carlos, I'm hoping to do something similar in order to send members invoices during our annual member drive and track those we send and receive payment for. Make.com seems like a decent option -- I wonder if you have had any luck?

I am looking for solutions that will help me to send SMS text to parents in the k12 org kit. Could you please help me with some suggestions.

Thanks

Get to Know Your Fellow Education Summit Attendees!

Hi everyone! Education Summit is right around the corner, we thought it’d be nice to create space for everyone to get to know each other a bit (aka this group!). This is many of our community’s first big events back in person and a big opportunity for everyone to mix and mingle with other Edu Trailblazers.

With that in mind, we want to make a (virtual) space for people to meet a few others before Summit. Each week leading up to the event we’ll be posting a “Get to Know You” question here. Share a short response in the comments, and try to respond to at least one other person’s comment to get the conversation going! Then, by Summit, you’ll already know some people and be able to spot some friendly faces in the crowd. Here’s our first one!

So to start... where are you all traveling (to Dallas) from? Comment below and share your role, and how far you’re traveling for the event! Then try to find someone who’s traveling the same number of miles :)

.... ready, go!

I'm traveling from Severna Park, Maryland and can't wait to see you all in Dallas!  My first summit was MANY years ago in Tempe AZ and I'm thrilled we are back in person again.  I'm SVP of Gerent's Education Practice and will be attending with my colleague @Chris Hoffmeyer!

Hi everyone! It’s time for our second “Get to Know You” question!

We loved seeing everyone introduce themselves and share how far they’re traveling (check out this post in case you missed it)! As a refresher, share a short response in the comments, and try to respond to at least one other person’s comment to get the conversation going! Then, by Summit, you’ll already know some people and be able to spot some friendly faces in the crowd.

Here we go: What is your MUST bring travel accessory? Comfy shoes? Chargers? Stickers ;) ? Find someone who has the same one and reply to them!

I work at an independent all girls school in Vancouver, BC.  We are using different systems with no integrations, the data is shared through imports and exports via crystal reports.

- admissions (blackbaud, onBoard)

- student information system (mySchool)

- advancement (blackbaud, raiser's edge NXT and online express)

- finance (sage 300)

- destiny (library and out of school care)

- lightspeed (point of sale)

- final site (website and authentication for parent portal)

Start building your agenda for Education Summit with Agenda Builder!

Agenda Builder has arrived! That means you can now view session dates and times, and attendees can customize their own agenda with a click of a button.

Note: adding a session to your agenda does not guarantee a seat. Seats are first-come, first-served.

Check it out → https://reg.salesforce.com/flow/salesforce/edusummit23/maincatalog/page/page?tab.day=20230411

Question for you all: What was the FIRST session you're going to be adding to agenda builder?
