Lightning Transition Helper App Description

Hi Everyone! Welcome to the Lightning Transition Helper App Group! This group will serve as a resource for group members interested in keeping up to date with this app as well as being a part of the first pilot group! Check back for upcoming information regarding Pilot Groups.

The Lightning Transition Helper App is an app geared towards helping Salesforce orgs transition from Salesforce Classic to Salesforce Lightning Experience. This app will allow users to establish a rollout plan by setting a "go live" date, defining the users to focus on, and working towards modifying the experience for those users. Admins will be given detailed tasks that will take them through the rollout process. Alongside these tasks will be resources for users to utilize should they need them. The Lightning Transition Helper App will be available soon on the AppExchange for download.

Lightning Transition Helper App Pilot Group Request Form

Here are the steps to using the Lightning Transition Helper App:

After downloading the app from the App Exchange, you will be taken to a home screen (see attached picture)

1. Fill out the required fields (Be sure to choose your Focus Group and Set your Projected Go Live Date)
2. Begin Reviewing and Completing the Steps (There are approximately 26 steps to complete)
3. Check out resources provided with each step if needed 
4. Work on task, until you complete the process and reach your Go Live Date (Changes/Adjustments can be made to Go Live Date if necessary)
5. Repeat with more Focus Groups until entire Company is working on Lightning!
