Presenting the first new major release of 2025 - #RIOEducation#RIOEducation 3.19!

Biggest features include:

• Grade Release Wizard :
  • Custom component that allows you to release grades for multiple Course Offerings via Job Queueing.
• Student Count on the Session Scheduler :
  • Booking Student Count - Counter for all student Session Connections that are active for a Booking's date.
  • Session Student Count - Session names will include a student count in brackets, e.g. "(30) BUS101 Lecture #1".
• Preview a Course Offering's Session(s) before enrolling :
  • A calendar button next to the "Enroll" button on the enrollment wizard, which allows users to preview the session timetable before enrolling.

We are happy to announce the latest #RIOEducation release - version 3.17 !

Several enhancements have been added - to name just a few:

• the ability for users to show/hide certain buttons/info on the attendance and grading wizard
• a Course can now have multiple Sessions with their own grading open/close period
• the ability to search students by Student ID, and Sessions by Session Name, when using the Student Scheduler

Check out the latest #RIOEducation v3.15 patches. Among the additional enhancements are improvements to the Session Scheduler, such as:

• the ability to choose whether to assign facilities to all Bookings (classes) or just for those without any existing facilities assigned (v3.15.1).
• a quick search bar to the Session Scheduler, to allow easy search of specific Sessions (v3.15.2).

A new year brings a new #RIOEducation version, packed with exciting new enhancements!

Proudly presenting - version 3.15 !

Most prominent are the enhancements to the grading wizard, namely:

• Being able to support Course Offering only (without Session Connections). Useful for scenarios where you may not use Sessions for your courses.
• Faculty can now "Save" their grades if they are still provisional. A separate button "Save and Submit" can be used once the grades are confirmed.

Student calendars

• Students will be able to view Sessions (class schedule) on their calendar, before enrolling to a program.

Grading students in the Faculty Portal:

• Course Offerings without Sessions can now be listed for grading.
  • If your use case does not utilize Sessions (e.g. self-paced online classes), the faculty will still be able to grade students by their Course Offerings.
• Custom Term Grades fields can be displayed for editing/updating.

Taking students' attendances in the Faculty Portal:

• Faculty can now filter/search for a specific Session to mark attendances, without needing to scroll till they find it.

#RIOEducation 3.14.3 is available for install / upgrade!

• Program Structure Overview wizard is now supported on the Student Community.
• Grading component allows custom Term Grade fields to be displayed, using field set.
• User can configure whether clicking on a record in a related list would open the record in a new tab, or, redirect the current tab to that record.

#RIOEducation 3.14.2 is out! Check out our release notes here. Highlights include:

• Ability to choose how to sort student names alphabetically (i.e. by first name, or last name) on the grading and attendance component.
• Students can now withdraw from courses that have disbursements, as long as it is before census date.

#RIOEducation 3.13.3 patch is also out (release notes here). The following bug fixes are also available in 3.14.2:

• Fixed a previous bug where approving Transfer Credit records would not link Course Connections.
• Session details on the calendar component in the community are now displayed correctly.
• The "Back" button for the My Sessions tab in the community is now working correctly.
