almond App User group

This group is to share information about the new free learning app 'almond' from AppExchange. Share your tips, questions, or engage with other community members.

The team at SCORM Anywhere is excited to launch an integration between Almond and our fully native SCORM Player! If you are using the native Almond LMS, you can now store, play and track SCORM content seamlessly in Almond. SCORM Anywhere is a fully native Salesforce player that has passed all ADL tests for SCORM 1.2, 2004, AICC, as well as it is TinCan compliant! SCORM Anywhere's player can also track and bookmark MP4, .Avi's, .Mov video file formats and we now can wrap SCORM around YouTube and Vimeo links to fully track and bookmark files that live on these platforms without the need to load them into the LMS.

The integration and implementation of SCORM Anywhere takes less than 5 minutes to fully install and integrate so let us know if you would like to get a demo of SCORM Anywhere.

We are excited to be a part of such a great community!

@Jonathan Rico  I am currently testing Almond LMS for External Community users. The external users are able to see Catalogs, Training Tracks, Their assigned training without any problem. However, they are not able to see the assigned achievements. Do we need some additional configurations to show achievements in the community portal?

We're working on moving into Lightning and I can't figure out how to share Training Tracks. In Classic there is a Share button at the top but it seems to be missing or someplace I'm not looking in the new UI. Thanks for all your help!

We enabled and tested this app in sandbox. Works great!! When we enabled in production and created the training plans, although we see everything, specific Training Plan is not visible for end user while the same is visible for System Admins. We have been unsuccessful in resolving this for past two days and any pointer is highly appreciated. Is there any Role settings or object permissions we need to enable?

I know this is an old post, I believe a fix could be giving permission to the accounts that your end users are associated with in order for them to access the plans.

I am having an issue using iframes between the Partner community and the Customer community. Partner users can launch learnings in iframes and see the linked content without an issue. Customer community users however get an error message (sad file icon) stating that "xxxxx.salesforce.com could not connect". Anyone know what this issue could be?  @Jonathan Rico  Perhaps you might be able top advise?

Sorry Claus, I did not see this until now. If I recall correctly, this was an issue with using proper iframe capable links. In our case, we are using Brightcove to host our video content, there was a setting that kept us from embedding content (I beleive it was a sharing rule) We were able to resolve our issue upon discovering this setting.
