Hi to all,
Our field service implementation includes several price books per country. On average there are 5 customers per country and around 15 service providers. For each of them we have a price book.
All these price books and of course other data are used to build the briefcase. Please note that having a briefcase with all necessary data is very crucial for our organization because we need to work very often offline. Even with the unlimited license, due to the size of data we exceed the 400000 records limit. Is it possible to build the briefcase only with the standard price book or we need all catalogues?
Any ideas to reduce records that are repeating like those in price books?
Thank you in advance,
Thanasis
I would first review the Briefcase filters and relationships to ensure we're only downloading the Price Books and Price Book Entries actually required by each technician.
Using the Standard Price Book alone may not be sufficient if Work Orders require customer/provider-specific pricing. Instead, try to reduce overlapping Briefcase rules and avoid bringing the same Price Book Entries through multiple paths, as duplicate records can contribute to the record limit.
So, the key would be targeted priming + removing overlapping/duplicate Briefcase criteria, rather than downloading all catalog data.
