Hi guys,

Wonder if someone might be able to help me with what could be a quite a cool dashboard/project

I have a data set (attached) which is a load of players from different leagues, with a bunch of performance metrics. It's an excel sheet where every sheet is a different league

What I want to get to is a dashboard where you can choose from drop downs:

- League

- Team

- Player

And get a bar chart for that player similar to the attached pic (this is one I made for a single player - most of the ground work for this was done in excel so very inefficient!), which compares the chosen player to the rest of the players in his league and his position only.

Pulling data from multiple excel sheets and creating a dynamic dashboard

What I would like to do is have different templates for position group.

So after selecting the player you would select the FORWARD TEMPLATE from a drop down which would compare the player to other forwards in his league for metrics like goals p90, assists p90, key passes etc.

Or you would select the FULL BACK TEMPLATE and it would show the player compared to other full backs in his league for Interceptions per 90, Crossing success % etc

I've also made an image of what the dashboard could look and work like, made on powerpoint (lol) as I feel like I may have explained this terribly!

The x-axis is percentile ranks - showing where the player ranks against other players in his position, in his league. And there is a line to clearly show where the player is above the 50th percentile

Obviously you guys won't know which metrics I want to put on each template but hopefully I can just follow your logic and amend? Similarly at some point I'd like to have another drop down that says SHOW RADAR CHART, SHOW BOX PLOT etc - again hopefully I could just copy the logic for this! And also add more leagues etc

Feel like this should be possible but I can't get off the ground with it

Hopefully this rambling makes some sense and I will be eternally grateful for any help!

Thanks!

Well, some of the issues you have mentioned have been taken care of. Hopefully, you can take it forward from here.
