I have a Waterfall with calculated fields that depend on multiple window sum calculations.
To get the values for the calculated fields, I need to keep the dimensions (along which window sums are calculated) into the detail or label marks.
But when I choose Gantt, I don't get an aggregated Gantt for the Waterfall but multiple Gantt chart streaks for the various dimensions as shown below-
Is there a way around to get a single Gantt streak at the top of the each stacked bar in the below graph?
(Here too, the bars are actually split along the dimensions.)
Main concern is - Is there a way to include dimensions in Table calculations without splitting the charts along those dimensions?
I presume this is no longer required but thinking out loud and without sight of your workbook, have yo tried performing additional window calcs against the current window calcs in order to tell Tableau to treat as a single value rather than multiple?
I suspect in this instance, this method may not work though if it is still required, we are going to need to know how Tableau is calculating.
