The problem is occurring because I have a dashboard that uses multiple view with same color key. When the view that the color key originates from does not have all the possible colors present, the color key only shows colors that are there, while the other views may contain those colors.

I'd love to be able to do this without a workaround also. I hate to clunk up a dashboard with extra stuff unless absolutely necessary.
