Here is my issue: I have a large workbook with many dashboards. All dashboards are composed of multiple worksheets fed by a single Data Source (extract). The Data Source is composed of multiple spreadsheets which are all connected to a "Master Calendar". The resulting Data Source is slow to refresh so I thought I could add a new Data Source and split my spreadsheets between the two and refreshing them independently. I tested with Dashboard ABC: created a new Data Source, brought in its ABC spreadsheet, went to each worksheet contained in Dashboard ABC and replaced the date from the "Master Calendar" by the date from the ABC spreadsheet so as to remove any connection between them. So far so good. But when I used the Data -> Replace Data Source function in the first worksheet (yes, I did check the "replace current worksheet only" box) all the calculated fields I have created for all the other dashboards in my large workbook were added to the new data source table. All of them! And that created a multitude of "Unexpected Error: Invalid field formula due to limitations in the data source. Error Code: 2F8B7E6C.
How do I avoid that?

I can't help with the error, but when you replace data sources Tableau will always copy the calculated fields - that's just how it works.
