Current Vs Prior Weekend

Hi Guys,

 

I am new to tableau and need on you suggestion on how to compare data between current and previous weekend.

Below is the source data format -

 

Week Start DateTerritory# Locations# Screens7/2/2015Argentina1007/9/2015Argentina057/16/2015Argentina797/23/2015Argentina437/3/2015Singapore1007/10/2015Singapore057/17/2015Singapore797/24/2015Singapore43

 

Week Start Date is always on a Thursday in source system. This is when the current week's data is added.

In the report I need - The user only see this format everytime this report is refreshed in future.

                         Previous Weekend          Current Weekend

Territory          # Location     # Screen       # Location     # Screen

Argentina               7                    9                    4               3

Singapore              7                    9                     4               3

 

Any suggestions will be very helpful. Will relative date work?

    Thank you Bora for the above solution. I wanted to one more question just for learning purpose -

     

    In the above example if I just create a filter of current week and prior week as status -

     

    IF [WEEK_START_DT] > DATE(DATEADD('day',-7,date(TODAY()))) AND

    [WEEK_START_DT] <= date(TODAY())

    THEN 'Prior Week'

    ELSEIF [WEEK_START_DT] > date(TODAY())

    THEN 'Current Week'

    END

     

    Will this work?
