What is the difference between cross database joins and Data blending, Both are doing the same job,
If already blending is there then what is the use of cross database joins.
where we can use cross database joins. Please explain me with a real time scenario.

There is a BIG difference between blending and cross database joins. Your statement of both are doing the same job is incorrect. A cross database join just like a vanilla single database join combines two or more tables into a single set of records that Tableau works with as a single data source. Blending keeps the data sources separate in Tableau. When using a dashboard interactively on blended data sources, SEPERATE independent queries are created and sent to each data source in which the aggregate results are then combined (joined).
