I got a very basic question considering the implementation of ArcGIS in Tableau.
Why should I implement ArcGIS into tableau? Does tableau show more data within a dashboard/presentation?
Simply, what is the added value of using ArcGIS data in tableau?

You can combine maps and other chart types on a dashboard, and then use other charts to filter/highlight data in the map. All the charts (including the map) become interactive, and can be used as Action filters to drill-down into your data. Of course Tableau is NOT a mapping program, and does not support as many layers, etc. But then mapping programs don't normally draw bar, slope, area, etc. charts.
