Workbook Datasource - Server Datasource Difference

Hello all,

There is a workbook that is using a published datasource as seen below.

I create a local copy from this datasource let's say this datasource1.

Then I go to tableau server and find the same datasource and download it to local and say this samedatasource.

When I compare these two datasources I see that one grouping ('categorical bin')  does not exist in the samedatasource( the one I downloaded from server).

Is there a possibility that creating workbooks over a published datasource can effect the datasource itself?
