How do you connect live to a .csv file in sftp/ssh server?

I would like tableau to connect to a .csv file in sftp/ssh server. The csv file will be dynamically updated by an application. If this is not possible with tableau please suggest alternative method of achieving the same thing.

Also when a tableau dashboard is published in tableau server where does the .csv file go? Is there a way to send .csv files to tableau server for example: using sftp/ftp?
