    ------------------------------------

In my research, I discovered several instances displaying a similar behavior when attempt to open particular flows in Tableau Prep.

From the cases reviewed it seems that the error message aforementioned is displayed when the file may have been created in a pre-release version of Tableau Prep, or the file may be corrupted.

With that being said, try the following steps.

As a first step, I recommend to Test the flow for corruption by following the steps below:

    1. Copy the flow in the local computer (local drive).

    2. Unpackage the flow file. (simply change the flow .tflx extension with .zip and unzip the file).

    3. There should be three files present: displaySettings, flow, and maestroMetadata. If the flow file is not present, or is empty, the file is definitely corrupted.

If the flow is corrupted, unfortunately, the only recourse in this case was to re-author the flow.

If the flow is not corrupted beyond repair (the files mentioned above are present after unpackaging the flow), try to zip back the files (select all files and compress them back). Once compressed then re-name zip file with .tfl file type. In some scenarios this may help to resolve files that have been corrupted.

In some cases- for example when a shared directory is used to save and store the flow, the process above may not be viable . This is due to some sort of issue when uploading the file that triggered lost data, and can not be resolved as far as we know. To avoid this, always keep a local backup of the file before updating it to a shared/network drive.

    ------------------------------------

    とりあえず、手順通りにファイルが問題ないかを確認したうえで

    再zipし、tfl に拡張子を変えてみてはいかがでしょうか。
