Tableau Version 10.2

I have some survey results (a sample excel document is attached with a similar format). Persons of <person Id> took a 5 question survey and were asked to rank items on a scale of 1-5.

I put these results into Tableau (this workbook has been attached).

I'd like to display the results as a continuous line graph per person id. The line would link all the ranks per questions for a given person id. (I have attached an image of person id a.)

I feel like I am making this way more complicated than it should be.

Can anyone guide me in a producing this result?

Thank you in advance!

    Hi Erin

    see the attached possible solution

Working with survey data has some unique issues - for multi-choice questions the usual approach is to pivot the data so it  looks like this

Pivot Data from Columns to Rows

    Tall  and not wide
