The Stripe Connector for Salesforce Billing is designed for billing and invoicing use cases within Salesforce Billing. It supports recurring payments but is limited to Salesforce Billing and doesn't handle one-time payments or work with Experience Cloud. On the other hand, Stripe for Salesforce Platform can be used for general payment processing across Sales, Service, and Experience Cloud. It supports both recurring and one-time payments and can be used with any standard or custom Salesforce objects.

If you're looking for a more flexible solution, tools like Skyvia can integrate Stripe with Salesforce, supporting both recurring and one-time payments. It works seamlessly across both Billing and Platform use cases and allows you to connect Stripe with any Salesforce object, including Experience Cloud, without the limitations of the native connectors.
