Hi friends!
As we move along in our migration from foundationConnect to Grantmaking, we found something interesting: Grantmaking doesn't use the Affiliations object that foundationConnect has.
We use this object frequently for two reasons: 1) people in our industry (animal welfare) move around a lot and it's nice to see that history; and 2) sometimes folks have affiliations with multiple organizations at the same time (work for one organization and on the Board of another).
I just created a new post in the Idea Exchange for the NPC and Grantmaking developers to consider adding an Affiliation object. Please upvote and comment on it if it would be beneficial to you.

! I know this message was originally posted a while ago, but want to check if you've tried the Contact to Multiple Accounts feature that's now available as part of standard Salesforce functionality?
