Notification that a new version of a document has been uploaded to a Files Library.

I am Following a document in a Library to which I have been granted access. I want to be notified when a new version of that document is uploaded. How do I make that happen? 

All the SF documentation I can find says I have to subscribe to the document but I don't see any way to do that when I am viewing the File Details record page of the document. I can only follow the document.

I am following a document that had a new version uploaded. I have checked both CRM Content checkboxes in My Personal Settings, My Email Settings. But unfortunately, I did not receive an email notification notifying me that a new version of the document was uploaded.
