Tagging monthly / lapsed donors

Hi all! I'm figuring out how to tag donors who fit certain categories for easier list pulling, etc and am trying to automate as much as possible. I have a feeling I'll end up building flows for these things, but wanted to just post here to see if anyone had insight / tips before I dive too much deeper.

• We'd like to be able to have donors tagged when they are newly lapsed (meaning, they gave by this point last year but have not yet given this year). I'm not sure that doing that will really be possible with flow since it's dependent on where we are in the year. But wondering if others have done something similar.
• Similarly, we'd like to tag if donors gave in any of the past 2 or 3 years at all, but not the current year. I think this would be pretty easy to create a flow for.
• We'd also like to tag monthly donors. We don't use the recurring gift feature because our cc donations are pulled in via an ActBlue integration, which to my knowledge wouldn't work w/ the recurring gift feature. So all monthly gifts just appear as regular gifts. I think I may be able to pull in a recurring status from ActBlue to do this - then I could have a flow tag folks as monthly if they have a gift marked as recurring from ActBlue in the past month. But again, wondering how other folks in similar situations handle this.
• As a bonus, we'd love to be able to tag people in various metro areas. I'm not sure how to do this other than possibly creating a flow that will tag anyone in x city if they have any number of many zip codes in that area.
