I have a field called "Activity Status" which is a picklist field. Out of the 4 picklist options, I want 2 of the options ("Returning Purchase Prospect" and "Returning Refinance Prospect") to require the user to enter a date in "Date of Return" (date field) if those two Activity Statuses are selected. I also want Date of Return to be inaccessible unless the Activity Status is in fact "Returning Purchase Prospect" or "Returning Refinance Prospect".
Is there a way to do this in validation rules?
