Scenario: Customer fills out a form and chooses 1 or more products. The Products come into Pardot through a Form Handler and the values are all placed in a Text Area Field. The Customer should receive an autoresponder email with the list of products they selected and those products are linked to a Product Spec PDF.
Without creating in product fields, how could I accomplish this?#
You should be able to achieve this with something close to this:
1. An automation rule that sends 1 email template
2. Field recording the answers should be check boxes
3. Create dynamic content for each variation, with default value as blank. Include the links here. Example: If Product A is true, then variation A will show link to Product A.
4. Then the HML in your email template would look something like this: {{ #if dynamic_content_2000}} {{{dynamic_content_2000}}}
{{ #if dynamic_content_2001}} {{{dynamic_content_2001}}}
{{ #if dynamic_content_2002}} {{{dynamic_content_2002}}}
{{ #if dynamic_content_2003}} {{{dynamic_content_2003}}}
You will have to play around with the formatting in the email, but it's basically saying if the check box is true, show the dynamic content, for each product. If it isn't, it will be blank since the default is blank.
