Hi guys,
I have created a new custom report type that joins opportunities and contracts and added accounts fields to the report type layout.
When I apply the Account: Company Type filter I see the error "The component can't be displayed because the field(s) you chose for the filter are unavailable" on my components which has created report type as a source.
I don't understand why I get this error. I have the Account:Company Type field available in the report and I even add it to the filter section with "All" criteria.
Could you please help me to understand what is the reason of this error and help to resolve it?

Hi,
The reason is you are filtering your dashboard based on the Opportunities and contracts fields, you can't add one or both reports as components even if you add a custom lookup field to the account because this report focuses on the opportunity and contracts information. (Adding in a layout isn't enough)
