Question

The next problem I need to address is that I just imported a list of addresses using the NPSP data import template for the second time. (same list, second time importing with a few corrections). I was under the impression that the contacts in the list that had already successfully imported would be recognized as "duplicates" and ask me about them/combine them into one contact.  But instead, I have two separate contacts/households created in Salesforce for each one that went through a batch import twice. How can I stop this from happening in the future? If I am importing a large batch, I would like Salesforce to recognize when I already have someone in the system and ask me about reconciling it.
