We have a Next Best Action component that is set to be only visible for users that have a certain permission set assigned.
We now want to narrow this down further by only showing a certain Recommendation record for a specific set of users. As a pilot group.
I have noticed that Recommendation is not an object available for Sharing rules or Manual sharing via flows. In addition, we cannot specify $User in the Strategy builder; only $Record.

Turns out Custom Permissions and UserRole are in fact available in Next best action strategies. Just reference them like you would in Flow Builder. The custom permission may be changed into an ID when you hit Save.
