I want to use OpenIdc Provider with Salesforce

I wonder if and how I can configure SF to validate if OpenIdC session is still active.

On @Lawrence Newcombe diagram https://cloudsundial.com/salesforce-identity/openid-connect it is stated Relaying Party should regularly check if OPIdc session is still active and terminate if it is not.

Is this process described anywhere please?
