We have Pardot and Salesforce setup and syncing currently. There is a request to not have all prospects sync over, but only have certain qualified prospects sync over to Salesforce. We do not have scoring setup yet. The threshold for this looks to be that the prospect has submitted a form, responded to an email, etc.
Basically, we want to make sure that anyone who fills out a form on our website, registers for a webinar, etc to be synced to Salesforce. Anyone that is part of a prospect list that the Marketing team uploads and is working on nurturing should not be synced over to Salesforce.
What is the best practices of enabling this selective syncing to Salesforce?
I am also running into the issue of when a new prospect is added to Pardot as they filled out a form, they do not automatically sync to Salesforce due to a sync error:
No user assignment: This prospect (65990789) does not have a user assignment, and will not be synced.
It looks to be due to there is not an assigned user to the record. Is the best practices on assigning a user by default, but evaluating the Salesforce assignment rules when pushed to Salesforce?
Thanks!
Jeff
