I'm a little weak with formulas, so any help would be appreciated.
I have Object Work Order which can be used to create new object Tracking Sheets. I want to be able to set up a way where Tracking Sheet # field is based of the Work Order # field. For example;
Work Order# "WO - 00001", I use button "Create Tracking Sheet" I would like the Tracking Sheet# to automatically fill in "TS - 00001A". The dream would be next Tracking Sheet created for the Work Order would be "TS-00001B" etc.
Happy to lose the reference TS and just have the numbers if that helps, but anything that could be automated would be the dream. The key focus is the A,B,C variation autofills.

We create them one by one (Work Orders are the full order and Tracking Sheets are the independent deliverable by our engineers)
No, I don't think TS are master detail.
