New Global Actions not showing up in Publisher Layout Action Menu

Question

I'm trying to add and customize global actions in the global actions menu. Originally the default "New Task, New Note, New Event, and Log a Call" appeared here. But I wanted to replace these with two new global actions: New Lead and New Account. I added these actions to the Salesforce1 and Lightning Experience Actions section on Publisher Layouts. Why aren't they showing up? My profile is a System Administrator.

Hi John,

Currently there are limitations with the type of actions supported in LEX. I am also waiting for the custom action support in the global action menu.

These types of global actions are supported in the menu: Log a Call and Create a Record quick actions that point to the Events, Notes, and Tasks objects. Refer to the link below:
