sales call logs or tasks?

Question

Here's the challenge. we have a small outside sales team doing two different types of customer interactions. The first is at the distributor’s office, doing merchandizing and day to day follow ups at the distributor’s location. The second type is more involved typically. These are design build contractors and the opportunities tab and tasks are better for this.

I’d like to standardize the input method so that everyone is focused on sales rather than on the details of how to input…
