Hi all, first time poster and new SF admin user!
I am having a problem with one of my lookup fields. Under opportunities, we have a simple field to link up the opportunity with the campaign so that we can track and assign where the opportunities came from. However, the search window whenever we try to click on the magnifying glass is always blank making it look like there are no records available. Any help on this one? I am a bit stumped!

Still having a problem on the search. No matter what you put in or leave even as blank and hit go, nothing will come up in the search. It keeps telling me that "no records were found of this type" or permission problems (which I don't think is the issue as I am the admin user).
On your second point - you are right that I mixed up my language there. It is the standard lookup relationship that is not working - I did not create a custom lookup (though I did for fun just to see if it would resolve the search dialog issue and no change there).
