I have an issue where prorate multipler value is incorrectly calculated only for amendment quotes. (Its is correct for new quotes)
Here are the scenarios:
Package settings:
A) Subscription Prorate Precision - Day
B) Subscription Term Unit - Month
Prorate multipler value is correct in below scenario:
1) Default subscription term on product = 12 , Quote term = 12
a) Prorate multiplier on New quote = 1
b) Prorate multiplier on Amendment quote (keeping start date same as original quote start date) = 1
Prorate multiplier value is Incorrect in below scenario:
2) Default subscription term on product = 1 , Quote term = 12
a) Prorate multiplier on New Quote = 12
b) Prorate multiplier on Amendment quote (keeping start date same as original quote start date) = 12.1667
Looks like this is the calcuation : Quote term/default subsciptoin term on product => 365 days/30days => 12.667. However, fact remains the same that its different for new quotes versus amendments , even if start and end dates are same on the both.
Any idea whats going on here?

Hi Sanchit,
Other factors include the valid dates/months for the amendment quote. It is probaby best for you to log a case with Salesforce CPQ & Billing Support if the dates in question do not include any leap days.
