I'm new to SalesForce. The "Type" and picklist does not even show up for me when I create a new task. Just Assigned To, Subject, Due Date, Comments, Related To, and Name.
Is this feature not available for some subscribers?
I tried editing Setup > Customize > Activites > Task Fields > Type and it's all there. It just doesn't show up for me.

Does your profile has access to this field ? Also check pagelayouts.
