Import Custom object permission question for non admin user

I would like to give a Profile the ability to import to one custom object, however, when I activate the permission "Import Custom Objects" it gives the user the ability to import to all custom objects.  Is there a way to limit the import to just one custom object?

    Hi Robin, when you grant Import Custom objects permission to a user, that will give the user the ability to import to all custom objects. 

     

    But I have a crazy idea (you may disagree with this) to limit import to just one custom object. If you remove create and Edit permissions on all custom objects except for that one custom object then the user will not be able to import to all custom objects.
