How do I create a custom date range in a report

I'm trying to create a report that shows how many times a picklist "demo status" was marked as either scheduled or completed on a running weekly basis by user. However, I can only choose date ranges like "created date" or "demo date" in my report. Any insight would be appreciated

I assume your report is Summary or Matrix,

In your date field on the report,

there is a dropdown to the left, click that and

choose Group Dates by then

choose Calendar week
