Importing tradeshow Lead notes into Notes & Attachments?

I have a spreadsheet of Leads that have notes (conversions that took place at the tradshow that are valuable).  I would like to import those along with my Leads, but the Import Wizard does not allow me to import these notes into the Notes & Attachments.  Any suggestions on how to accomplish?

    Hi Dave,

    The Import Wizard can create the Lead records, but it doesn't directly support importing Notes into the Notes & Attachments related list. 

     

    A common approach is to do this in two steps:

    1. Import the Leads and capture their Salesforce IDs.
    2. Use Data Loader to insert the Notes/Attachments separately, using the Lead ID as the ParentId.

    For Notes, you can prepare a CSV with fields such as ParentId, Title, and Body, then insert the records into the Note object with Data Loader. 

     

    If you have a large number of notes, Data Loader or an Apex-based import would be more suitable than the Import Wizard.
