I'm 95% sure that you can't as platform licenses essentially use "Enterprise license" features and as you don't have enterprise edition you can't have platform edition. BUT I don't know if your allowed to do this (you will have to talk to your account manager) but you could set up another org as platform edition and using salesforce 2 salesforce to push data about? You will still have to pay for the platform licenses but maybe a way around?
