We are using email to salesforce to bring in all customer contact that is occuring outside of salesforce.  I have been able to create a report (Report Type: Activities with Contacts) for each user that I want to report on so that I am able to see how many emails they send per day/week/month/etc.  However, I am stuck as this report logs all contacts (either in the To or CC field) as individual emails.

For instance, if I send TEST EMAIL to me@mail.com, you@mail.com, them@mail.com - the report will then show that I have sent three emails.  I am not concerned with how many people receive an email for this specific report, rather I am concerned with reporting on how many times an organization receives an email from one of my users.

Any tips?

Gorav - will this automatically assign to a single contact and share it with the other contacts via email to salesforce...or will we have to manually modify once email to salesforce brings the activity in?  If automatic, is there a way to have this happen for history records?
