I want to setup an email template in SF - at the bottom of the email I would like to insert a small Vcard - is this possible?

I afraid you need to manually 'open' that vcard and add it to your Email Signature, from My Settings - Email - My Email Settings
if you know basic HTML, you can use it for font size, color, image, etc.
