I just passed the Platform Developer II transition exam (from Advanced Developer). Toughest exam I have ever taken, but a fair exam. Feedback is that it is true to the study guide - knowing SOAP, REST, Flow, and Process Builder - and how all connect/use Apex - is essential. The test touched on pretty much every item that the study guide suggests to cover when studying.
