Trailblazer Profile editing is currently not working for me.

When I open Edit Profile, the required fields Role and Relationship to Salesforce already contain valid selected values, but both fields are highlighted in red and Salesforce displays “This field is required.”

Re-selecting the existing values or choosing different values does not resolve the validation error. Because of this, I cannot save any changes to my profile, including my title and Short Bio.

The profile editor has also become unstable: while entering or changing text, characters sometimes behave unexpectedly and the edit window can close or reset.

Expected behavior: existing or newly selected values should be accepted and profile changes should save normally.

Actual behavior: the two required dropdown fields are treated as empty even though values are visibly selected, preventing all profile updates.

I have screenshots showing the validation errors. Is this a known Trailblazer Profile issue, and is there a workaround or a way to have the profile data corrected? 

I have cloned the Minimum Access - Salesforce profile and added the required permissions (flow user, run flows) and the data appears correctly but I do not see the flow action button.  Can someone tell me what could be the issue here?

I think this is possible, but can't remember how it's done.  I have one 'sales console app' and want to utilize it for multiple profiles.  The hurdle is, I want the home page of this one console app to display different data for each unique profile.  is this possible?

We have an internal sales team, and a commercial sales team.  would like to display a different dashboard for each.

I've created a custom profile center in Marketing Cloud, on the cloud page the profile information is prepopulated using lookup function in Ampscript. the information is checked will be updated using a triggered send which will be sent to the account admin,, who will then update the info for the subscriber. need help with checking the profile information from CRM using the RetrieveSalesforceObjects function and then send a triggered email to the admin with only the fields the subscriber wants to update.  Can someone help on this? #Marketing Cloud #AMPscript #Cloud Page Landing Pages #Custom Profiles

We're looking for advice on how to configure a Salesforce Admin user with specific restrictions. Our goal is to create a Salesforce Admin user who possesses all the generic Salesforce Admin setup permissions but is restricted from adding or removing Salesforce users.

Any insights or recommendations on the best way to set up such a permission set would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I have been setting up new NPSP orgs for years now, and today is the first time I have come across this; the NPSP Profiles ('Fundraising & Development') are missing? It's just the OOTB Salesforce ones. This instance was setup by a client with an existing SF contract who needed a new org for another arm of the business.  

I saw something from 2017 that suggested this happens when the org hasn't started as 'trial' org. How else does a client set up an NPSP instance if they haven't gone through the form > trial set up process? 

Can someone clarify what's going on for me? I have found the last few new NPSP instances I have set up for clients have acted quite differently than expected...

I'm working on the Security Superbadge so that I can get the security settings straight in my head. Does anyone else have trouble finding things when you have the Enhanced Profile User Interface on (or off)?

For IP ranges, I could not find that setting at all with the Enhanced Profile User Interface disabled.

Conversely, when the Enhanced Profile User Interface was enabled, I could not figure out how to enable the mobile settings.

Some of this seems like it's designed to confuse! Settings seem to disappear depending on what setting this is on.

The metadata api coverage suggests profile deployment is available in Unlocked packaging  - https://developer.salesforce.com/docs/metadata-coverage/49

however

We are getting an error upon installation of a package contain a profile.

The errors something along the lines of "An object <profile name> of type Profile was named in package.xml, but was not found in zipped directory"

this happens during installation.

The package creation seems to go through fine.

Any insights on how to overcome this be very much appreciated.

I am working on switching to sfdx and scratch orgs for our organization. I have written a python script to create a scratch org and deploy some of our custom code. One problem I am running into is that some of the dependencies I need to deploy to the scratch org require enabling enhanced sharing for reports and dashboards has anyone found a way to do this via code? either through the scratch org config, or through pushing certain files, etc? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
