#Account Planning8 discutindo

Hello.

We have turned on Account Plans in our Sandbox environment. For the Relationship Map we would like to somehow show a parallel org chart. For example. The CEO of Google and the CEO of our company Syska Hennessy Group. Is this possible?

It seems that the native Salesforce Account plans is limited regarding customization.

Please let me know if further information is needed.

Is there another account plans tool that is recommended that offers more flexibility to make customizations?

Thank you,

Nancy

@Nancy MagalhaesOne limitation I’d consider is the underlying data model: the native Relationship Map is primarily account/contact relationship-focused, so a true side-by-side “customer org + our internal org” hierarchy is difficult to maintain dynamically.

If this is a recurring sales use case, I’d model the internal stakeholders and customer contacts as related records with an explicit relationship type (Decision Maker, Executive Sponsor, Account Owner, etc.), then surface those relationships through a custom LWC. That would keep the visualization data-driven instead of relying on manually added cards, while still keeping everything inside Salesforce.

Hello! I've recently completed the Salesforce Certified Sales Representative Exam Preparation trail, and am looking to improve my knowledge and understanding in the following areas:

-Customer Engagement

-Forecasting

-Customer Success

-Planning

I have identified these as my weakest areas, so any recommended study materials, trails, modules, etc. would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks!

    I’d recommend these steps:

    1) Go to setup -> object manager and go to Account Object

    2) click on Actions on the left and creat a new action

    3) Name the action “Account Plan” and set it as an action to update record

    4) set your layout fields with all the fields you want to see in that section for Account Plan

    5) Save the action

    6) From within Account Object still, select lightning pages on the left and edit the lightning page

    7) click on the tabbed area and add a new custome section (Name it “Account Plan”)

    8) add a “related record” section from the left side into the open area within the new tab

    9) set the action to you new action of “Account Plan” and voila

I started to peruse the list of Dreamforce sessions and to make a list of the sessions I want to attend. I think for the first time I'll veer away from technical sessions and will mostly attend sessions about sales processes, sales effectiveness, forecasting and account planning!

I never realized how many sessions there were at DF on these topics. Looking forward to it!!
