    • Quick Start: Process Builder

    • Test Your Process

On this module I cant' get past the test which would complete the trail:

https://trailhead.salesforce.com/content/learn/projects/quickstart-process-builder/quickstart-process-builder4

The address doesn't update. So I did inline editing and changed it. I still didn't receive credit for it.

hello everyone - Is there somewhere a step by step set-up/configuration guide/handbook available? I looked already at http://pages.mail.salesforce.com/gettingstarted/sales-cloud/quote-to-cash/ but I haven't found what Im looking for. I currently have a trial version and would like to only set-up the very basic to be able to play around with the price calculator (to see if we can replicate our pricing with the CPQ price calculator) and to get the feeling how the contract drafting is working to set together a contract based upon product selection (to see how much we would need to "standardize" our terms etc. in order to be able to compute the contract easily via clicking)

many thanks

It sounds like you're going for some sort of "try-it-before-you-buy-it" scenario. Some pieces of the package are fairly out of the box, but most of it does require scoping and tailoring to your business.

Salesforce CPQ is more "out-of-the-box" than our competitors, but that doesn't mean you just flick a switch and our product knows your entire business and automagically builds itself. CPQ implementations are complex and best attacked with an experienced consultant.

Salesforce can put out all the content possible and it still will not be a substitute for having a consultant to guide an implementation. If you're looking for a demo of what CPQ might look like for your business I believe this is something your Account Executive can provide upon request.

Getting my toes wet by dabbling into Apex Code.  For other brave hearts ;)  Click on the link below to start your journey

https://developer.salesforce.com/docs/atlas.en-us.202.0.apexcode.meta/apexcode/apex_qs.htm

On the left panel, look for 'Apex Quick Start' and take it from there :)

Good Luck to all of aspiring Apex learners ;)

@Chris Duarte  Having trouble completing Quick Start: Lightning Process Builder Module - Step 3 'Add Your Process Action'.

In the steps, Action Name is 'Update Contact Addresses'.  The error msg (after I click Verify Step) says that I may have missed the name 'Update Contact Address'.  Also, there is an error in the name on the chart itself - the chart shows 'Update Contact Adres...'

Have you tried completing this project?  Were you able to do so?  Please help.

I did... Jeff Douglas @Jeff Douglas said there is a bug in the Assessment section. But, someone in success community, @Amit Chaudhary suggested that there is an issue with my Name space and that I should work on that Module in a new org. So, I am going to try working on that module on a new org. Will let you guys know. Thanks for your quick response. And Chris, I loved your log about prioritizing your life around family, volunteering and work :)
