#Scratch Org Definition0 diskutieren mit

I've built a 2GP Package that I am trying to release as a Unlocked Package.

I've overcome various validation errors due to missing features or settings in my Scratch Org Definition file.

However my package includes a Sharing Set which depends on the Contact being 'Private' and by default its 'Controlled by Parent', is there a way to define this feature/setting in my Scratch Org Definition File?

@Tom Bassett this might help you - https://salesforce.stackexchange.com/questions/218183/sfdx-sharing-settings-scratch-orgs

Is your package ultimately intended for public consumption, or are you just using it internally with your own org(s)?  Deploying sharing-related settings on standard objects can be tricky because the destination org may have valid reasons for how sharing is configured on their standard objects and can't change to support your package.

I wonder if there is a feature or setting to mention on scratch org definition file, so that Permission Set License "FinancialServicesCloudExtension" be assigned to the scratch org user?

I see it works in case of "ActionPlans" PS is auto-assigned to the "User User", if there is the feature "IndustriesActionPlan" mentioned on the scratch org definition.

"FinancialServicesCloudExtension" PS is required for the deployment user to get access to Branch  Management objects (BranchUnit, BUBM, etc.) Otherwise, the related metadata cannot be packaged. #Financial Services Cloud #Scratch Org Definition #Scratch Org Configuration #Unlocked Packages

I also tried to use "IndustriesBranchManagement" feature on the scratch org defintion. The scratch org has been created with PS "Financial Services Cloud Comprehensive", but the PS is not assigned to the user. Package:version:create is still failing, as the user doesn't have access to Banker standard fields (my understanding).

The user has access to the fields, once either PS "Financial Services Cloud Comprehensive" or "Financial Services Cloud Extension" assigned to the user.

@Emily Kapner, I wonder how this KI (Unlocked package creation with dependency on Financial Services Cloud object BranchUnitBusinessMember) was resolved back in Winter '22 ? Ability to package Branch Management related metadata would be huge progress (with all the Apex Classes, Triggers and Flows created based on it).

Hi! Has anybody been able to create a Scratch Org with MyTrailhead feature? I'm specifically looking for the licensed permission sets: MyTrailhead_Standard_User and force_Walkthroughs.

I wasn't able to find a related feature for a scratch org definition file here:

https://developer.salesforce.com/docs/atlas.en-us.sfdx_dev.meta/sfdx_dev/sfdx_dev_scratch_orgs_def_file_config_values.htm

There is TrailheadSettings available but it required MyTrailhead be enabled first (see Special Access Rules):

https://developer.salesforce.com/docs/atlas.en-us.api_meta.meta/api_meta/meta_trailheadsettings.htm

There is a MyTrailhead scratch org feature - I'll try to find the tech writer responsible for it and get it documented in the Salesforce DX guide.

Hello,

I'm working on mirgating a project to use scratch orgs and didn't find the setting to have the object "StreamActivityAccess" available in the scratch org so far. Any ideas what feature/setting I need to use in the scratch org definition file or which setting I need to activate in the scratch org manually?

Thanks!

What should I do if I need to use a CI SDLC, but need a setting that can't be set in the scratch def file? Example being enableSharedActivitySettings.

@Rohit Mehta There is no equivalent scratch def setting for "Enable "Set Audit Fields upon Record Creation" and "Update Records with Inactive Owners" User Permissions" under User interface.

Is there a way to enable the Setting "Allow users to receive approval requests as posts" (see screenshot) in ScratchOrgs with Scratch Org Definition files?

Anyone have any ideas how to work around "The formula references fields across 16 relationships while only 15 are allowed. Please contact support at salesforce.com for more assistance." There doesn't seem to be a setting in the scratch org definition unfortunately.

@Rohit Mehta That's the project for today. Yesterday was just getting it down to a unpackaged SFDX deployable set. Today I'm cutting it into the packagable and unpackagable metadata sets. I'll be negotiating hard with the team on what is and isn't needed. I was curious as I'd rather not have to use org shape at this point; but suspect I'll have to ask into the pilot if we're going to get some of the more complex packages in my future done.

Does anyone know what is the setting that need to be turned on in Scratch Org Definition to enable history tracking for accounts?

I could see the following link where it says it is fixed in Winter 19

https://success.salesforce.com/issues_view?id=a1p3A0000018BX2QAM&title=sfdx-force-source-push-command-fails-on-history-tracking

But cant figure out the correct setting, as code exported from current org is failing.
