    Created a brand new Word doc file, copied all the text (Cmd/Ctrl+A), copied to new file and saved. Uploaded again and that fixed the problem.

    Unfortunately didn't have time to know what Word config. caused this issue.

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone already had a similar issue. I created a template from a customized app and try to create a fresh app based on this template. I'm getting the following error after the Dashboards are created successfully. Not sure if I hit additional name space restrictions/ or which rule is not returning correct? (Template and original app are both in the same environment at this point)

" While processing Expression error occurred [Error processing expression "\${App.Datasets.${App.Datasets[Rules.CurrentNode].Name}.FullyQualifiedName}". Target unreachable, base expression [Rules] resolved to null] "

Hello All,

Unable to use 'Template Content Variable' while translating Template Content record

Requirement is I need to translate text in my template content to specific languages on quote document. I am able to translate Line Column fields to other language on quote template document. But for template content I was unsuccessfull.

Please refer to the image attached with this post.

Have also referred to this page here. The example is not clear. How can we create template content variable, get it translated and show it on quote template document?

Hi all,

Question regarding the customization of the Survey Email Template:

I've cloned the standard Embed_a_Survey_Link Lightning Email Template, and wanted to add Case Merge fields into this Email Template.

Therefore, I've created a Lookup field to Case on the Survey Invitation, which is updated through Process Builder. Then I have created formula fields on the Survey Invitation Object, in which the values are copied from the Case Object. This way, I hoped to use these formula fields as merge fields in the Lightning Email Template.

However, when updating the Lightning email template, I only get the following options when including Merge fields:

  • Recipient
  • Sender
  • Organization
  • Survey Question

It looks like SF doesn't allow me to include Merge fields referring to the Survey Invitation Object.

Is there another workaround for this, while still using the Lightning Email Template and the Send Survey Action in Process Builder? I'm aware that this could be achieved by using a Classic Email Template + Email Alert, but I'm looking for a solution where the Lightning Email Template can be used.

Thank you in advance!

If I convert a Quip file to a template, is there a way that I can grant "ownership" of the template to more than one person? I have a document that needs to be a template, but I have three people who manage the template.

Hi,

We have linked a contact form on the website to Salesforce. When a request comes in via this contact form, a case is created. For this purpose, an email template was created, which is to be forwarded to the corresponding teams. Is there a possibility for an if condition, where certain fields which are not being filled in are hidden when forwarding?   The HTML code looks like this:

Customer First name: {!Case.CP_Web_First_Name__c}

Customer Lastname: {!Case.SuppliedName}

Email: {!Case.SuppliedEmail}

Subject: {!Case.Subject}

Inquiry concerns: {!Case.cx_inquiry_concerns__c}

Inquiry Text: {!Case.Description}

Further information

Street: {!Case.CP_Supplied_Street__c}

PostalCode: {!Case.CP_Supplied_ZIP_Code__c}

City: {!Case.CP_Supplied_City__c}

Country: {!Case.CP_Supplied_Country__c}

Company: {!Case.SuppliedCompany}

Position: {!Case.CP_Supplied_Position__c}

Phone: {!Case.SuppliedPhone}

Inquiry originally sent to: {!Case.Origin}

     Try something like below

     {!IF (NOT(ISBLANK(Case.SuppliedEmail), " Email: {!Case.SuppliedEmail} ","" )}

    Mark this as best if helps

Does anyone know if there's a way to display the Consumption Schedule tiers on the Quote Template?  Similar to "Show Discount Schedule" option we have on the Quote Template object.

Feedback wanted on a new ‘Activities’ TCRM Template!

The Tableau CRM team is working on a new pre-built template for Activities insights.

Activities cover several standard objects in Salesforce and can be challenging to extract for meaningful insights. This template will use Recipes and other recent innovations in the TCRM platform for easier customisations, such as including custom fields.

If you are looking to create Activities analysis using TCRM, please drop me a note: ltoernquist@salesforce.com

Thanks, Liv
