Hi All, My organization is looking to switch Email Marketing services from Constant Contact to something that integrates better with Salesforce so we do not have to manage our email lists separately from our database. We would like to be able to schedule drip campaigns, segment our lists, and do some A/B testing, etc. Has anyone used Predictive Response, or Emma and could provide some feedback on their experience? Services like ExactTarget and Pardot are too expensive for us but we are looking for something more advanced than MailChimp and Constant Contact.

I'm on the development team at a mid-sized nonprofit. We are looking for a way to close the loop between Click&Pledge, Pardot, and Salesforce. Ideally, we would love to know where people come from when they donate to us, and group them under a campaign in Salesforce. So, if we send out a solicitation email (from Pardot, using on a dynamic list created with Salesforce fields), and they click on the link to donate in that email, we’d like their donation to be linked to the campaign for that specific solicitation email in Salesforce. Right now, because the email is sent from Pardot and the payment is processed through Click & Pledge, we don’t know how to do this. Is there a way to automatically link donations to campaigns in Salesforce based on donors' response to solicitation emails? Thanks!

Hi there! We are looking to integrate our social media platforms in salesforce.

We do recruitment for Fellows and we use #PredictiveResponse for our email campaigns but we also use #Facebook #LinkedIn #Twitter and want to make sure that we are using one central communications strategy for outreach for all of this.

We are also a small non-profit.

Does anyone have any recommendations for products?

I'm looking for a freelancer to take over my editing of Vertical Response emails. You would receive content from us, insert the articles into our format (I can forward a sample to you), proofread, and test. You would not launch emails or be involved with list creation. This work takes me about two hours per email (one every week, a few skips) and as a professional you would probably do it faster! Send interest to Terry@StreetYouthMinistry.org directly for instructions to apply. We plan our newsletters 4 weeks in advance, provide copy 2 weeks in advance, and do copy editing/proofing 1 week in advance. Our publication deadline is every Wednesday (a few skips.) We have a slightly tighter schedule for graphic design because it has to connect to copy. Looking for other nonprofits who are using Pardot successfully. Want to know if we are a fit for Pardot.

As part of a larger ongoing discussion we're having about e-mail opt-out management, I'd be curious to hear from anyone who is sending marketing e-mails (in all of their various forms) to a contact who has multiple affiliations and has a preferences page to address this.

We have accounts/contacts who have multiple e-mail addresses and affiliations which could range from alumni to parent to staff/faculty to student to donor/friend. Right now we're doing all alumni marketing from our alumni portal, and recruiting e-mail via Marketo, so a central solution is preferred.

I need to get my first Salesforce based year end appeal organized. I would like to know how others manage large segmented campaigns with varied criteria and specific exclusions. With past systems I had utility programs to define each group and create segments. In Salesforce could do this with a bunch of reports to create campaigns but that really seems like it is going to get confusing and unwieldy.

Our breakdown goes something like: corporate donors, major donors, donors, lapsed donors, engaged contacts, newsletter subscribers, and various exclusion lists like boards and committees, foundations, open opportunities.

Your thoughts and suggestions are greatly appreciated.
