Thanks @Jennifer Lange. I'm not sure what's going on. Maybe we need an app refresh? I'll post back once I get it figured out. I'm glad to hear it's working in any case. Bodes well for us! BTW, did they ever explain what happened?

Re-posting, originally posted as a follow up question to another post, but re-posting for more eyeballs.
I am working with an organization and they already use MobileCause. Recently, they migrated to NPSP and I would like to integrate MobileCause. I got in touch with MobileCause via their website's "Contact Us" type interface, and had a conversation with a salesperson. Unfortunately, I did not get the information regarding Salesforce integration that I was hoping to get.
MobileCause app on Appexchange is an expensive product and they do not offer free trial or test drives, therefore I am very interested in knowing how the community's experience with the MobileCause app on Salesforce appexchange is.
If anyone on this forum has any pertinent information/experience, then I would like to interact. TIA.
Mar 16, 2023, 4:12 PM One of the groups I work with has MobileCause installed in both a sandbox and in production. Apparently it used to work (probably 2022) and they seem to have been happy with it. In this case it is not NPSP but rather WaterGrass, which for all practical purposes should function about the same as the NPSP. So it seems promising. But it appears not to be working fully at the moment (March of 2023). I have little information about MobileCause but am trying to dig into it. What I have found thus far, though, is that the app is bringing data into the database but it is in a "pending" status and that seems to mean it's not being processed into Contacts and Opportunities. We are looking into why that is the case. I'll try to post back if I find anything out.
My org finds itself needing an at-the-time-of-event credit card donation system - quickly (up and running in a month). They have signed up for square because it's easy and inexpensive, but without consideration for easy recording of donation data and donor contact data in Salesforce.
Before we go live using square, I'm wondering whether it is a viable choice at all for recording data in Salesforce, and if not what system is a good choice. Our volume of donations per year will be low - in the hundreds - but our budget for software solutions is also low. We need something simple (as simple as possible in this not-so-simple realm).
I have the idea that Click & Pledge is the leader in this area, but I myself have never used it so I don't have a "starting feeling" for whether it would be appropriate for such a small org. So I'm looking for that first "here are the choices to research" type of advice.
(We previously took donations via text message using MobileCause, which has no integration with SF, and the semi-manual migration of donor data I had to do was quite a pain, especially reconciling those transactions with QuickBooks.)
Thx!
Jul 19, 2019, 8:16 PM Thanks for this input, @Ann Ezzell! Just so I'm clear - how were you importing information from Square to Salesforce? Manually or via Zapier or something similar?
Hi, our org is exploring various vendors for P2P, event ticketing (Gala, golf, walkathon), as well as text2 give. MobileCause is one of the vendors we're highly considering. Anyone has any experience with their integration with Salesforce?
Thanks in advance.
May 29, 2018, 1:46 PM I would recommend checking out Soapbox. They have a ticketing and P2P app.
We are a relatively small nonprofit interested in exploring the world of text-to-donate tools. Have you tried a tool like this that integrates with Salesforce? Can you recommend (for or against) one?
This would be one of those products that permits a person to pull out her smartphone, text a keyword to a code number, and receive clear instructions to donate funds on the spot. We envision using this in conjunction with a half dozen events per year, or possibly promoting it as a simple way to give all year round. Would love to hear about your experiences, thanks.

We're a small non-profit using MobileCause to college online and text donations. We would like to integrate the two, so donations/ donor info from MobileCause will auto populate into Salesforce. Anyone have experience? Suggestions? Cost? thanks!

What are folks using for text-to-give during gala and fundraising events?
May 21, 2018, 4:53 PM @Khatchadour Khatchadourian, we have used #mobilecause for years and they have a fundraising thermometer, but I was not aware they integrated with Salesforce. I find that integration, while helpful, can pose it's own difficulties and issues, so while it may sound great, it does not necessarily make the process easier. Good luck with your search.....
I wanted to see if anyone in the Hub had experience with Mobilecause and integrating with NPSP? Thank you

What apps does Salesforce have for mobile giving? What platforms do people use outside of Salesforce that are cost-effective? Thank you!

Jan 27, 2016, 11:32 PM Katherine - You can also consider creating a mobile responsive site in VF and integrate with any payment processor that you like and yes the logic auctioning /Bidding can be included as well.
We're considering Crowdrise, Classy and a few more. I would love feedback/advise from those using/familiar with these.
@Fundraising@Nonprofit Success PackJan 28, 2016, 11:44 PM Thank you all for your feedback! Does anyone have an opinion on MobileCause? #MobileCause
