I'm trying to complete the Get Started with the Salesforce Platform challenge. I used the Dreamhoouse install link to download the app. It seems to download fine, I complete the challenge, but when I go to check it says that I don't have the field in Contacts. When I go to my App Launcher, Dreamhouse is NOT installed. Going back to the install link, I get a message that the app will 'upgrade' with all the existing data. I've done this five times to no avail. Here's what else I've done:
- Closed and restarted the browser
- Completed the challenge on another computer
- Uninstall and reinstall the app
- Delete the field and repeat the steps
- Create a new Trailhead Playground and complete the challenge
I'm using Microsoft Edge, if that matters. If not, what am I doing wrong? #Trailhead Challenges #Installing DreamHouse App
Hello, I just started today and one of my very first tasks was to add a pre-qualified checkbox to the contacts. It then shows you how to basically check to see what you have done. The only problem is for some reason contacts is not there when I look through the apps.

This task is basically for create a custom field as checkBox type in Contact Object.
you can create a custom object by following steps: Open Setup --> Click On Object Manage --> Open Contact Object --> Click Field and Relationship --> Click New --> after that you can create a new field by choosing the Datatype.
you can Open Contact Record table by just click on App Launcher and type contact and Open Contact Record table.

I'm new to this, and already have trouble installing DreamHouse, to get started with the Salesforce Platform. I made a Traiblazer account a few weeks ago using Google-login (so never made a password or secret question). When I log in to Trailhead, I get a single use password in my mailbox. But when I want to install DreamHouse, I'm asked for a password for Salesforce. I can't figure out how to get DreamHouse installed. Anyone also knows how to fix this problem?

Hi Christel,
Login to your Trailhead account via Google login, the way you do, then, launch a playground and go to setup-users and then under your name , reset the password. It will send you an autogenerated mail in your email and then reset the password from there. Note the username from the users because that is what you'll use to login ! Hope this helps!
Good evening all, I am struggling with logging into Salesforce. I get an email with my new user name, but there is no password given. Any idea how I can obtain it?

I am trying to install the DreamHouse app and the module I have already completed doesn't let me know what playground or developer org I installed it in previously. So would it be OK to uninstall the other packages on my Trailhead dev org in order to install this it again? I was concerned that my work from former modules and badges could be lost if I did this.

That's ok, whereas I cannot be certain to how exactly your org looks like.
For Trailhead, I suggest using several orgs. some badges will make the org unusable for other modules. This would also solve your problem.
Hello I am doing Trailhead Challenges and Installing DreamHouse App and could not Initialize Sample Data after creating several Trailhead Playground I realize, the components seem to be not downloaded with error "resourceful-fox-43ezxo-dev-ed.my.salesforce.com refused to connect." May I know how to solve this issue. Thanks in advance
